I love the sound of Major 9 Chords, and you should too. The only thing that can make them sound nicer is adding in some lead lines in between.
This exercise will help you get to grips with combining melodies and chords while expanding your knowledge of the fretboard with alternate picking, legato and tapping. I think this kind of exercise is suited to any player up for challenging their playing in a different genre on guitar.
